The Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Gleb Nikitin, said that mobilized residents of the region will be given push-button phones, he wrote about this in his telegram channel.

“We believe that we should help our Nizhny Novgorod residents, so we collect the necessary things for them. A sleeping bag, for example, should be with everyone. Given the recommendations on push-button telephones for mobilized, we took it upon ourselves, & mdash; he explained.

The governor's post says that Nikitin met with the mobilized and gave out the first sets of necessary things. The corresponding video is attached to the message. On it, the governor, surrounded by conscripts, puts on the table various things included in the set: a rug, a sleeping bag, gloves, a hat, a raincoat, a dry ration, batteries, a multi-tool, a flashlight, a first-aid kit, a sewing kit.

In accordance with federal law, military personnel in the performance of their duties, including when conducting combat operations and being on the territory of military units, are prohibited from carrying smartphones and other gadgets with the Internet and a geolocation system. Push-button phones are not prohibited.

The purchase of push-button phones for those mobilized the day before was also reported in the Oryol region. The governor's adviser Sergei Lezhnev wrote about this in his telegram channel. According to him, Governor Andrey Klychkov gave such an order.

In general, on September 28, the region paid bills in the amount of 700 thousand rubles, the purchase included chainsaws, generators, tents, warm underwear, and socks. Later, several more ordered consignments of goods intended for the mobilized will arrive, Lezhnev emphasized.

After the announcement of mobilization, many regions decided to take additional measures to support those who fell under the call and assign one-time or monthly payments. In particular, in Moscow they decided to pay mobilized 50 thousand rubles a month, in the Sakhalin region— one-time for 300 thousand rubles, in Yakutia— at a time for 200 thousand rubles, in Adygea— one-time for 100 thousand rubles, in Kabardino-Balkaria— monthly for 25 thousand rubles.
